This holiday season has us thinking about our relationships. And today, a very important one has come full circle. We are so excited for the success of our good friend, popular national media personality and Digital Lifestyle Expert, Mario Armstrong. Storytrack’s Meg O’Hagan is the producer for Mario’s on-air segments for NBC’s Today Show, HLN and CNN, on trends in consumer technology. Mario has also appeared on Dr. Oz, Nate Berkus and Rachel Ray. But during his recent interview on St. Louis radio station, Y98 FM, his shout-out to Storytrack has us reminiscing about how it all began.

Storytrack’s VP, Lisa Constance, first heard Mario about 4 years ago on a segment for The Phillips and Company Morning Show, talking about the best tech gadgets to give for Christmas. She was impressed by his wide knowledge, fun delivery and unbridled enthusiasm, all perfect traits in a great video personality.

After a quick Google search and then a long phone conversation, they were in business together, helping increase his exposure and introducing him to new opportunities. Lisa helped Mario secure several corporate gigs as a content expert for companies like AT&T and Ford, for their marketing and engagement video campaigns. The Storytrack team is currently working with Mario on several other projects in the New Year, including talks for a national TV show.

Mario’s been so busy these last few years expanding his brand that Y98 producer Courtney Landrum said he used to be so easy to get for the show but now he’s next to impossible to book! Oh yeah, and if you want to know Mario’s picks for the hottest last minute gifts for the tech lovers in your life, check out his interview on Y98’s Phillips and Company Show.
