The first time we met with the team at St. Louis Composting, we knew they were a special company doing great work for Mother Nature.  We also knew a boring, run-of-the-mill training video would never do.

St. Louis Composting is the region’s leading producer of compost.  A big source of the material they use comes from their food waste collection program with food manufacturers and service providers like restaurants and institutional kitchens.

But a high turnover rate is inherent to the food service industry.  So they constantly face the challenge of client training.  It’s difficult to do on-location training each time a new employee is hired at their client kitchens.

So we worked with St. Louis Composting to create a client training video that’s engaging and entertaining, as much as it is informational.  We used a Glidecam with our EOS 60D DSLR camera to achieve interesting angles and movement shots.  And selected just the right cut of music and voice over talent to create a light and fun, yet authoritative tone.

We can’t show you the whole thing since it’s for client use, but here’s a little snippet to show that a client training video doesn’t have to be a chore for the audience to watch.
